Over the last few months, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some great eateries in the Albany, NY’s Capital District. Mangia being the latest one! The staff were all so friendly, and very easy to work with. It was obvious that they love their jobs, and creating a great dinning experience for their guests. We focused on capturing the customer’s experience, as well as highlighting the beautiful food. And of course, we wouldn’t want to forget about the management and head chef that make it all happen. I’ve mentioned before that it’s important to have great images on your website. Head-shots are no exception. The days of the light blue background, dull business photo are over. I love shooting head-shots in the establishment. Not only does it make for a more interesting photograph of the person, but it is in fact showcasing them where they work!
There’s a great range of items on the menu – each dish beautifully presented. Our models did get to sample the ones we showcased. Yes a perk to being involved in a restaurant corporate shoot. And based off their reactions – all were delicious! One comment made, “This is the most incredible looking bruschetta I’ve ever seen!” As you can see they have both indoor and outdoor seating available. With the weather finally changing in New York, it’s nice to have the option to sit outside.
