A Bit of Bragging Rights – Albany, NY Boudoir Photographer

posted in: Boudoir Photographs, General | 0

Let me first start out by saying – anyone who knows me, knows that I’m very humble – and if anything I should probably believe in myself more than I do!  My bragging come with a bit of a blush, and small proud smile.   So what am I talking about?  And what does it have to do with Boudoir?

Let me tell you!!!!!

A few months back I noticed that the Boudoir Divas – my most inspirational boudoir ladies – had a posting for “recommended photographers”.   These talented ladies are located in San Diego, California and lead the industry in Boudoir Photography.   They regularly get requests for boudoir photographer recommendations outside of their area.  Of course I was interested, and sent along a request to them.  I was thrilled to receive an invite back, and can say I am now listed on their Boudoir International portion of their website!!!  Interested clients can go here to search across the WORLD — yes I said World!!!!  —- for a Boudoir Photographer where they live.  I don’t think I can express how excited and honored I am to  be there for New York!!!!  If I could insert an audio clip – this would be where you hear the girlish, giddy scream!!!!  🙂

Here’s the link to my profile there – Genine Gullickson – Albany, NY

Pulling together the text info was easy – the image selection however… well that was a different story!!!  I tell people all the time, that I have shot a variety of clients – all body types, all ages, and many differently themed shoots.  So how was I going to showcase that?  AND THE IMAGES HAD TO BE HORIZONTAL/LANDSCAPE – not vertical/portrait for their webpage template.  The lists began, trying to select my favorites, while showing  variety of my work.  I did manage to use some vertical shots – putting 2 together on a landscape layout like this 🙂

After I compiled a variety of images – I zipped them up and sent them on over.  From there, the ladies in Cali, selected which they felt were the best representation.

Obviously I am super excited about this – and thrilled to share it with my clients as well as “fans” .   When you are recognized by your peers – especially ones you consider at the top of their game – well… it’s flattering!!  I love boudoir!
