Finally, finally the Wedding shoot you’ve been hearing me talk about for months! To recap for those of you who need to be caught up to speed 😉
The very talented floral designer, Karen Splendido, owner of Splendid Stems and I met during a headshot session she hired me for. Get two local business owners together and ideas are bound to start flowing. Karen asked me if I had ever done a stylized shoot – which I really hadn’t – and definitely hadn’t for weddings. That was it ! The conversation started, and more and more ideas developed. A bunch of phone calls, and our stylized Wedding shoot took shape. Erica Sherman, hair/makeup artist from Jean Paul Salon and Spa in Albany, NY is my number one stylist, and I was thrilled when she said an enthusiastic YES! Our casting call for a male and female model to act as our mock “Couple” received great response – and we selected the gorgeous Stephanie Wilcox, a model introduced to us from Manschinn Entertainment. Our handsome male model also models locally with Albany Talent, Adam Vandervoort. Wedding dresses were provided by Angela’s Bridal, and the tux from Tuxego. Karen made a call to Total Events, and they provided us with beautiful linens. Last piece… LOCATION!
We wanted to go with a romantic, rustic, chic theme. You can imagine how thrilled I was after coordinating with April, the event coordinator for Pat’s Barn in Troy, New York, to shoot the session there! This gorgeous barn was perfect.
I’m thrilled to share these images with you – and so proud of the wonderful team of people I had to work with. This stylized Wedding event could not have come together any better!
