Another very big congratulations to this incredible couple. Michele and Makki could not have had a better day for their Saratoga National wedding!
The day started off at the Hilton on Broadway in Saratoga Springs, NY. Stylist Erica Sherman of Jean Paul Salon and Spas was working her magic when I arrived. Michele knows Erica from work, and I work with Erica for many of my sessions. The familiarity we have with one another certainly brought a relaxed vibe to the room. As I expected, Michele was enjoying the excitement of the day. From the shoes, to the jewelry, to the striking dress – everything was perfect.
After hanging with this gorgeous Bride and her girls, I was on my way to Saratoga National to meet up with Makki. This handsome Groom was all smiles and couldn’t seem more laid back. Adorable to see him connecting with his son, and heartwarming to see the bond he had with his groomsmen.
The ceremony was short and sweet under the tent, followed by Cocktail hour on the veranda. I stole the bridal party for some pics… and of course had to keep the happy couple for a while longer. The bridges along with the golf course make the perfect backdrop for portraits.
If you’ve never been, Saratoga National is simply a beautiful venue. Michele’s fun feather elements, and the colorful up-lighting in the room set the stage for the reception. An upbeat DJ – a dance loving crowd – well you get the idea!
At one other point in the evening, Michele and Makki were willing to let us steal them away. A few more pics – a bit more intimate. Some different lighting techniques too! Best way to wrap up the evening. Honored to have been their photographer… Congrats again you two!!!
